His night ended after allowing the first two hitters to reach in the sixth and he was ultimately charged with another run. Severino has now failed to reach six innings in consecutive starts and has issued nine walks over his last 10 innings pitched. He now owns a 3.00 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 41:20 K:BB in 45 innings and will look to get back in the win column over the weekend against the Marlins having not picked up a win since April 17.       Advice: Riley experienced left side tightness in batting practice Sunday and was ultimately removed from Atlanta's contest against the Mets in the fourth inning after going 1-for-2 at the plate. The third baseman doesn't know yet if he'll be sent for an MRI. With the team launching a three-game home series against the Cubs on Monday, there's a chance that Riley misses some, if not all, of the series as Atlanta will likely be cautious with the talented 26-year-old.       Austin Riley (side) told reporters on Sunday night that he’s hopeful to return to the Braves’ starting lineup at some point during the upcoming week.

      Advice: Riley initially felt something in his side during batting practice but didn’t say anything. He then felt the discomfort again in the third inning on Sunday night and continued to play through it. Finally in the fifth inning, it was enough of a concern to mention something, which prompted his exit from the ballgame.       Luis Severino pitched decently in a no-decision against the Braves on Sunday night, allowing two runs on four hits over his five-plus innings of work.

      Advice: The 30-year-old right-hander walked three batters and punched out four on the night. He served up a solo homer to Jarred Kelenic in the second inning, then allowed the first two hitters to reach in the sixth inning before turning the ball over to the bullpen, and one of them ultimately crossed the plate. Severino got 12 swings and misses on 94 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 24 percent.       Marcell Ozuna smacked a go-ahead RBI single in the eighth inning on Sunday night, but it still wasn’t enough to lead the Braves past the Mets.

      Advice: Ozuna gave the Braves the lead in the sixth inning with an RBI single off of Reed Garrett that made it a 2-1 ballgame. They then entered the eighth inning locked in a 2-2 tie, but got things started as Zack Short worked Adam Ottavino for a leadoff walk. He then swiped second base and raced around to score on Ozuna’s run-scoring single.       Advice: The Braves are calling his exit precautionary, but there’s still cause for concern. It’s unlikely that the club will have any additional updates until Monday. Fantasy managers should be sure to have a contingency plan in place for next week in the event that Riley is forced to miss a couple of games.       Mookie Betts went 2-for-4 with a double as the Dodgers were shut out by the Padres on Sunday afternoon in San Diego.

      Advice: As a team, the Dodgers tallied just four hits in the contest, with Betts accounting for half of them on his own — including their lone extra-base knock. He smacked a one-out double off of Yu Darvish in the sixth inning but was left stranded there. He then singled off of Wandy Peralta with two outs in the eighth inning.
