    • Alexis Díaz locks down sixth save on Saturday
Alexis Díaz recorded two outs in the ninth inning to convert the save against the Rangers on Saturday.

Advice: The Reds entered the inning with an eight-run lead over the Rangers. Brent Suter nearly let it get away from them, allowing four runs in the frame. Díaz would come in with one out, two runners on, and the tying run on deck. He induced a quick pop out and a groundout to end the game with his sixth save of the season. • Sitting with injured ankle
Cruz isn't in Pittsburgh's lineup Saturday against the Giants after tweaking his ankle during Friday's game, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Advice: Cruz hurt his ankle after sliding into third base during the ninth inning of Friday's game, and it is apparently bothering him enough to warrant a day off Saturday. While he recovers, Alika Williams will start at shortstop and bat ninth. Rotowire.com 52 minutes ago

    • Jose Siri underwent procedure for kidney stones
Jose Siri underwent a procedure earlier this week to resolve a kidney stone issue.

Advice: Siri returned to Tampa Bay’s lineup on Friday night after missing a couple games earlier this week to address a situation with kidney stones. The hope here is that the issue has finally been resolved and won’t impact his availability moving forward. Rotoworld Today, 8:22 am

    • Launches homer in loss
O'Neill went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 7-1 loss to the Cubs.

Advice: O'Neill has hit safely in all three games since returning from the concussion list and five consecutive overall. His fourth-inning home run was his eighth of the season, leaving him tied for third in MLB. All eight of O'Neill's homers have been solo shots. Rotowire.com Today, 7:58 am

    • One hit in return to lineup
Siri went 1-for-4 with an RBI on Friday against the White Sox.

Advice: Siri has been in and out of the lineup since Sunday while dealing with kidney stones. Per MLB.com, he had a procedure to resolve the issue and is no longer expected to be affected. Siri's performance at the plate is a different issue, as he's currently striking out at a 43.8 percent clip and could lose playing time with the imminent return of Josh Lowe (oblique). • Big effort in win
Busch went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 7-1 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Busch has been great so far in his first season with the Cubs, as he's slashing .289/.347/.554 with six home runs and 17 RBI across 24 games. The 26-year-old regularly sits against southpaws, but when a righty is on the mound, Busch looks like a strong fantasy asset at the moment. It helps him that the whole Chicago lineup is clicking during the team's 17-9 start, giving Busch plenty of chances to rack up stats. Rotowire.com Today, 6:32 am

    • Homers in win
Perkins went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run during the Brewers' 7-6 win over the Yankees on Friday.

Advice: Perkins' two-run shot in the third inning gave Milwaukee a 4-2 lead over the Yankees, helping the Brewers to an extra-inning victory. The 27-year-old has been a pleasant surprise for the Crew early in the year, slashing .313/.421/.500 through 76 plate appearances. His role as a near-everyday outfielder will come to an end once Christian Yelich (back) returns from the injured list, but Perkins' recent production could allow him to enter the lineup somewhat regularly even after Yelich is healthy. • Collects eighth save
Helsley struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his eighth save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Mets.

Advice: The right-hander needed only nine pitches (seven strikes) to convert his eighth straight chance after blowing a save March 30. Helsley hasn't allowed an earned run in seven straight appearances, and he sports a 1.93 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 16:1 K:BB through 14 innings on the season. The 29-year-old's career high is 19 saves, but he's tracking to blow past that mark by the All-Star break. Rotowire.com Today, 6:13 am
    • Coughs up four homers
Musgrove (3-3) allowed seven runs on eight hits and two walks over 3.2 innings Friday, striking out four and taking a loss against the Phillies.

Advice: Musgrove was cursed by the long ball Friday. He gave up a leadoff shot to Kyle Schwarber to begin the game before Philadelphia crushed three more homers during a four-run third inning. Musgrove is still searching for some consistency and his ERA has shot up to 6.94 through seven starts (35 innings). While he's struck out more than five batters just one time in 2024, he set a new season best by forcing 15 whiffs Friday, including seven with the slider. Musgrove will carry a lackluster 27:13 K:BB into his next outing, which is projected to come at home against the Reds. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:30 pm
