    • Lands on IL with adductor strain
The Twins placed Lewis on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a right adductor strain.

Advice: The 25-year-old was removed from Tuesday's game against the Detroit due to left groin tightness, but it's now being reported as a right adductor injury. According to Dan Hayes of The Athletic, Lewis is dealing with a Grade 2 strain and will be sidelined through the All-Star break before being reevaluated. Even in a best-case scenario, he'll likely miss some time beyond that while building back up to game readiness. Prospect Brooks Lee was called up in a corresponding move and should take over as Minnesota's primary third baseman while Lewis is out. Rotowire.com Today, 1:44 pm

    • Twins place Royce Lewis (groin) on 10-day IL
Twins placed INF Royce Lewis on the 10-day injured list with a right adductor strain.

Advice: Unfortunately, the 25-year-old superstar heads back to the injured list where he has spent far too much time over the past three seasons. Twins’ general manager Derek Falvey told reporters on Wednesday that Lewis will be sidelined at least through the All-Star break and will then be re-evaluated. Top prospect Brooks Lee had his contract selected from Triple-A St. Paul in a corresponding move on Wednesday and he should see plenty of action while Lewis is shelved. • Mets recalled RHP Christian Scott from Triple-A
Mets recalled RHP Christian Scott from Triple-A Syracuse.

Advice: Scott is back in the majors to start against the Nationals on Wednesday. Matt Festa was designated for assignment as the corresponding move. Scott has a 3.90 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 27 2/3 innings in five starts with the Mets this year. He’s worth streaming in leagues with daily transactions. Rotoworld Today, 7:52 am
    • Summoned ahead of start
The Mets recalled Scott from Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Advice: Scott is slated to start Wednesday against the Nationals and he could earn additional opportunities if he pitches well. The rookie right-hander has collected a 3.90 ERA and 25:6 K:BB over 27.2 innings in five starts with the major-league club this season. Rotowire.com Today, 7:50 am
    • Big day in win
Ramos went 2-for-4 with a walk, a solo home run and a stolen base in Tuesday's 5-3 win over Atlanta.

Advice: His ninth-inning shot off Jesse Chavez gave the Giants an insurance run. After a slump in the second half of June, Ramos is heating up again, racking up multiple hits in three straight games. The 24-year-old is slashing an impressive .298/.373/.524 through 217 plate appearances in the majors this season with 11 homers, two steals, 23 runs and 38 RBI, and he's solidified his spot as San Francisco's starting center fielder. • Returns to action
Stephenson started at catcher, batted fifth and went 0-for-3 with a walk in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Yankees.

Advice: Stephenson's availability to play was thrown into doubt after the Reds transferred him from the paternity list to the family medical emergency list. The transfer gave the Reds the option to not activate Stephenson for Tuesday, but the catcher was ready to go. Rotowire.com Today, 4:24 am
    • Swats 15th home run
De La Cruz went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run, a triple and an additional run scored during Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Yankees.

Advice: De La Cruz took Caleb Ferguson yard in the fifth inning, extending the Reds' advantage to 5-0. The speedster also legged out his sixth triple of the season and third in the last five games. De La Cruz has generated multiple hits in seven of his last 10 games, batting .349 with a pair of homers, eight runs and three steals over that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:50 pm
    • Royce Lewis (groin) heading for MRI on Wednesday
Royce Lewis will undergo an MRI on Wednesday after being removed from Tuesday’s game with left groin tightness.

Advice: Lewis expressed concern to reporters afterwards that he’ll wind up back on the injured list since the Twins don’t want to take any chances with his long-term health. “I have no idea. But probably not very optimistic, to be honest with you,” said Lewis. “I’m praying, but it’s usually always horrible news. So we’ll see.” All fantasy managers can do now is wait and hope for the best. There should be an official update on his status prior to Wednesday’s game. It’ll likely be top prospect Brooks Lee, who boasts a stratospheric 1.029 OPS with seven homers in 20 games this season for Triple-A St. Paul, coming up to take his spot at the hot corner, if he winds up requiring a trip to the injured list. • Teoscar Hernández plates three in Dodgers victory
Teoscar Hernández went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI on Tuesday night, propelling the Dodgers to a walk-off 6-5 victory over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Hernández got the party started in the first inning with a two-out RBI double off of Ryne Nelson. He also drove in the game’s second run with a fielder’s choice in the third inning. The best was yet to come though, as he dropped a two-out RBI single into left field off of Paul Sewald in the ninth inning, delivering a come-from-behind walk-off victory and sending the Dodgers’ home faithful into a frenzy. With the three-hit night, the 31-year-old outfielder is now hitting .254/.316/.480 with 18 long balls, 58 RBI and four stolen bases. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:21 pm
