Miller unfortunately lost the win when the bullpen blew the one-run lead in the ninth. After drawing a walk and scoring in the first inning, he blasted a three-run homer off Daniel Lynch in the seventh to give the Yankees a commanding lead.       Colton Cowser came off the bench to hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth as the Orioles bested the Braves 4-2 on Wednesday.

      Advice: Cowser was on the bench in favor of Austin Hays against a right-hander tonight, but that’s just not something the Orioles need to do with any real frequency. Even though Cowser’s numbers have come down after a hot start, his batted ball stats remain strong. He’s definitely one of the Orioles’ top three outfield options versus righties.       Spencer Schwellenbach yielded two runs in six innings Wednesday in a no-decision against the Orioles.

      Advice: It’s the first quality start in three tries for Schwellenbach, though he had nothing to show for it afterwards. The Orioles were very aggressive in swinging at 49 of his 89 pitches, and while they swung and missed just nine times, they didn’t make much hard contact at all.
