    • Returning to lineup Tuesday
Hoerner (hamstring) will start at second base and bat sixth in Tuesday's game versus Atlanta.

Advice: Hoerner hasn't played in more than a week due to a left hamstring injury, but he's finally feeling well enough to give it a go Tuesday. Dansby Swanson is also back from an injured-list stint, so the Cubs will have their middle-infield duo back together for the first time since May 7. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:33 pm

    • Remains out Sunday
Hoerner (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates, Andy Martinez of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Advice: Make it six straight absences for Hoerner, who continues to nurse a sore left hamstring. He was still hoping to avoid the injured list as of Friday, but it's reasonable to think Hoerner to the IL could be the move to accommodate the return of Dansby Swanson (knee) on Tuesday. Nick Madrigal has been serving as the Cubs' primary second baseman in Hoerner's absence. Rotowire.com May 19, 8:40 am

    • Nico Hoerner (hamstring) remains out Sunday
Nico Hoerner (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Pirates.

Advice: Hoerner is going to miss a sixth straight game while recovering from tightness in his left hamstring. The 27-year-old is considered day-to-day, but a trip to the injured list can’t completely be ruled out. Nick Madrigal is the starting second baseman and will hit seventh against the Pirates on Sunday. Rotoworld May 19, 8:36 am

    • Nick Gordon out against southpaw Sunday
Nick Gordon is not in the lineup for the Marlins on Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: The Marlins are loading up with right-handed bats against Sean Manaea, so Gordon and Jesus Sanchez are getting the day off. Dane Myers is starting in right field while Emmanuel Rivera also enters the lineup as the third baseman. Rotoworld May 19, 7:44 am

    • Provides offense Saturday
Morel went 1-for-3 with an RBI in Saturday's 1-0 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Morel's line drive to center in the bottom of the ninth inning brought in Cody Bellinger with the game-winning run. It was a nice effort for Morel, who's been productive this month despite batting just .220 in May. The production has come mostly in the power department, as the 24-year-old has five home runs this month across 17 games. Morel came into May with four long balls over his first 29 contests. • Eleven-game hitting streak
Tovar went 2-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI on Saturday against the Giants.

Advice: Tovar took over as Colorado's leadoff hitter with a lefty on the mound and did his damage in the third inning with an RBI single before coming around to score in the same frame. He has at least one hit in each of his last 11 games, during which he's gone 17-for-49 with two home runs, seven runs scored and seven RBI. Rotowire.com May 18, 11:48 pm
