    • Keeps surging Tuesday
Gorman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 8-5 loss to the Astros.

Advice: Gorman has upped the power over the last week with six homers and 10 RBI over his last seven contests. That's still come with a swing-and-miss risk, as he's struck out 10 times in that span, but that's of little concern when he's making the most of whatever contact he gets. The second baseman is up to 14 homers, 31 RBI, 28 runs scored, two stolen bases, eight doubles and a .235/.320/.508 slash line through 206 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:10 pm

    • Manny Machado goes 3-for-4, knocks in run
Manny Machado went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a steal versus the Angels on Tuesday.

Advice: Machado has collected hits in 12 of 13 games, and his batted ball numbers have started to creep up as well. There’s nothing so far to suggest he’s about to go on a tear, but things are looking up. He’s currently at .251/.315/.379 for the year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:52 pm
    • Delivers off bench Tuesday
Wisdom went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Wisdom provided a game-tying blast as a pinch hitter in the sixth inning after replacing Michael Busch. Over his previous 15 games, Wisdom had gone just 4-for-31 (.129) with two doubles, three RBI and 11 strikeouts. He's now slashing .230/.304/.475 with three homers, 11 RBI, seven runs scored and three stolen bases over 69 plate appearances this season. Wisdom's slump during May didn't help his cause to see more than a short-side platoon role, primarily at first base with Busch. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:30 pm

    • Slugs 10th homer
De La Cruz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Rockies.

Advice: De La Cruz snapped a 21-game homer drought with his third-inning blast, which was his 10th long ball of the year. During the power outage, he hit just .169 with four doubles, though he still managed to pick up seven stolen bases. The speedy infielder's slump has dropped his season slash line to .233/.329/.426 with 26 RBI and 39 runs scored over 61 contests, but he also leads the majors by a wide margin with 32 steals. • Powers team to win
Morel went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Morel launched his 11th home run of the season and second in the last five games in the sixth inning to spark the Cubs' comeback victory. The 24-year-old has been a bit all or nothing this year, as he's batting just .201; however, his power potential alone should keep him in Chicago's lineup most days and gives him fantasy upside, which he flashed last season with 26 long balls in only 388 at-bats. • Morel hits 11th homer of season vs. White Sox
Christopher Morel went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday’s win over the White Sox.

Advice: Morel hit his 11th home run of the season in the sixth inning off White Sox reliever Justin Anderson. After putting Cody Bellinger on first via a hit-by-pitch, Anderson hung a breaking ball to Morel, who blasted it 423 feet to deep left-center while cutting the White Sox’s lead to 5-3. In typical feast-or-famine fashion, Morel is now hitting .201 on the year with 16 extra-base hits and 37 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:28 pm
    • Elly De La Cruz hits 10th homer in Reds’ win
Elly De La Cruz hit his 10th homer Tuesday in the victory over the Rockies.

Advice: We’re not sure De La Cruz has pulled out of his lengthy slump just yet, but according to xwOBA, he has performed better these last 10-14 days than he did during the first three weeks of May. The homer tonight was his first since May 11. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:26 pm
    • Joey Ortiz leading off again Tuesday vs. Phillies
Joey Ortiz is leading off on Tuesday against the Phillies.

Advice: Ortiz has been bumped up to the top spot in Milwaukee’s lineup on several occasions over the last few weeks as his breakthrough campaign continues. The 25-year-old rookie infielder is batting .302 (29-for-96) with four homers and two steals over his last 30 games. Perhaps more impressive is the fact that he’s walked more times (16) than he’s struck out (15) during that span. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:26 pm

    • Joins Atlanta on MLB deal
Anderson agreed to a major-league contract with Atlanta and will be on the active roster for Tuesday's game in Boston.

Advice: The 31-year-old opted out of his minor-league deal with Seattle over the weekend and will now receive his first look in the big leagues during 2024. Anderson spent last season with the Brewers and posted a .226/.310/.368 slash line in 96 contests. He should serve as a bench bat and provides some corner outfield depth with Ronald Acuna (knee) out for the season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:23 am
