    • Pulled after four innings
Bibee did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Tigers, allowing four runs on five hits in four innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Bibee looked sharp early Wednesday, allowing just one hit through his first three innings. However, things went south in the fourth, when Bibee allowed four runs on four hits. While Cleveland would ultimately rally for a win in extra innings, it was another disappointing start from Bibee -- he's now allowed 10 runs over nine innings in his last two outings. Overall, the 25-year-old right-hander is 2-1 with a 4.91 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 44:13 K:BB in eight starts (40.1 innings) this season. Bibee's currently slated for a tough road matchup against the Rangers early next week. Rotowire.com Today, 2:48 pm
    • Tanner Bibee pulled after four against Tigers
Tanner Bibee gave up four runs in four innings Wednesday in a no-decision against the Tigers.

Advice: Bibee cruised through three innings, allowing just one single, but everything went wrong in the fourth, which started with a single to conclude a 10-pitch at-bat. The Tigers wound up getting three more hits, as well as a key HBP, to produce a four-run inning in which Bibee threw more pitches (43) than in the first three combined (39). It was such a long inning that the Guardians didn’t bring Bibee back out for the fifth. Unfortunately, Bibee will miss the four-game series against the White Sox this weekend and make his next start in Texas against the Rangers. Rotoworld Today, 1:38 pm
    • Out 4-to-6 weeks
Reds manager David Bell said that Encarnacion-Strand, who was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday, is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks after tests revealed a new fracture in his right wrist, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Advice: Initial imaging after Encarnacion-Strand was hit on the hand by a pitch late last month came back clean, but subsequent tests revealed a right ulnar styloid fracture. The 24-year-old has hit a disappointing .190/.220/.293 with two home runs in 29 games for the Reds this season. Cincinnati will turn to Jeimer Candelario to replace Encarnacion-Strand at first base in Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks, while Santiago Espinal enters the lineup at first base. The Reds signed Mike Ford to a one-year contract Wednesday and could also turn to him for starts at first base while Encarnacion-Strand is on the shelf. Rotowire.com Today, 1:10 pm
    • Reds place Christian Encarnacion-Strand on IL
Reds placed Christian Encarnacion-Strand on the 10-day injured list with a right ulnar styloid fracture.

Advice: CES took a pitch off his wrist a couple weeks ago and the initial X-Rays came back negative, but now the team is saying there is a fracture which will sideline him forthe next six to eight weeks. Santiago Espinal is likely to take over duties at the hot corner full time until the 24-year-old can return to the Cincinnati’s lineup. Rotoworld Today, 11:54 am
    • Placed on IL with fractured wrist
The Reds placed Encarnacion-Strand on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday with a right ulnar styloid fracture.

Advice: Encarnacion-Strand was hit on the hand by a pitch late last month and missed four games with lingering soreness. While initial imaging didn't reveal a new injury, it did show that the infielder has an old fracture that could be contributing to the discomfort. Ultimately, the Reds have opted to give him some extra down time, although it's not clear how long Encarnacion-Strand might be out. Cincinnati signed Mike Ford to the 26-man active roster to provide extra depth at first base/designated hitter while Encarnacion-Strand is out, and Cincinnati could also shift Jeimer Candelario over to first base and use Santiago Espinal at third base. • Big day against Houston
Verdugo went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in Tuesday's 10-3 win over the Astros.

Advice: The 27-year-old got the rout started for the Yankees by launching a three-run homer off Justin Verlander in the bottom of the first inning. Verdugo has gone yard three times in his last eight games while batting .324 (11-for-34), and the surge has boosted his slash line on the season to .275/.362/.450 with five homers, one steal, 17 RBI and 19 runs in 34 contests. • Goes deep in loss
India went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to Arizona.

Advice: India's seventh-inning homer was his second of the season. A two-week stretch during which he's batted .343 (12-for-35) has pushed his average to .222. That ranks third among qualified hitters on the team, which ranks last in MLB with a .207 average. Rotowire.com Today, 4:33 am

    • Alex Verdugo drives in four in win over Astros
Alex Verdugo went 3-for-5 with a homer and four RBI in a 10-3 win over the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: The home run was Verdugo’s fifth on the season and he now has 17 RBI. The big fly wasn’t a Yankee Stadium blast either, with Verdugo hitting it 383 feet at 107.4 mph off the bat. While many expected a power boost for Verdugo moving to Yankee Stadium, he has just a 3.8 percent barrel rate and his lowest fly ball rate since 2021. His HR/FB rate is up, so Verdugo could easily surpass his 13 home runs from last year, but he’s unlikely to see a major surge. Still, his walk rate is the highest it’s ever been and he’s slashing .275/.362/.450 on the season, which will give him fantasy value if he keeps hitting cleanup behind Juan Soto and Aaron Judge. • Day off Tuesday
Campusano is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cubs.

Advice: Campusano will hand over catching duties to Kyle Higashioka for the second time in the last three days. After enduring a 1-for-13 (.076) stretch at the plate, Campusano has rebounded with hits in three straight games, tallying five RBI and a pair of runs scored in that stretch.
