    • Four hits in return to lineup
Yoshida went 4-for-5 with an RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's victory over the Cubs.

Advice: Yoshida did not start the previous five games, as the Red Sox utilized Rafael Devers and Tyler O'Neill at designated hitter as they returned from injuries. He did his best to make up for lost time Saturday, doubling in a run while also adding three singles. While he has been used very little this week, the expectation is that Yoshida will remain the team's primary DH moving forward. Rotowire.com Today, 5:57 pm
    • Cranks ninth home run
O'Neill went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and three runs scored in Saturday's win over the Cubs.

Advice: O'Neill got the scoring started with a blast over the Green Monster in the bottom of the first inning. It was the first home run this season for the 28-year-old that wasn't a solo shot. O'Neill also added a double, a single and a walk. Only Mike Trout (10) has gone deep more times so far this season than the Red Sox outfielder. Rotowire.com Today, 5:49 pm

    • Rocked by Reds
Lorenzen (2-1) took the loss Saturday, coughing up five runs on six hits and a walk over six-plus innings in an 8-4 loss to Cincinnati. He struck out three.

Advice: The veteran right-hander came out firing, striking out the first two batters he faced, but things began to go sideways for Lorenzen in the second frame. Even so, he'd put together a quality start through six innings, but manager Bruce Bochy let him begin the seventh and Lorenzen hit Tyler Stephenson with a pitch before serving up a homer to Jonathan India. He left the mound after exactly 100 pitches (68 strikes), and Lorenzen will take a 4.24 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 14:9 K:BB through 17 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come on the road next weekend in Kansas City. • Tyler O’Neill blasts ninth homer against Cubs
Tyler O’Neill went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and three runs scored against the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: O’Neill got the scoring started for the Red Sox, taking Ben Brown deep for a two-run homer in the first inning. He added a double to lead off the fifth and scored on a base hit. He singled in the eighth and crossed the plate for a third time on a double by Masataka Yoshida. The 28-year-old outfielder is off to a great start in Boston, slashing .333/.450/.758 with nine homers, 19 runs scored, and 11 RBI across 80 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 4:12 pm

    • Corey Seager swats second homer on Saturday
Corey Seager went 1-for-4 with a solo homer on Saturday against the Reds.

Advice: Seager was originally scheduled to get the day off on Saturday, but was a late addition to the lineup. On his 30th birthday, he swatted a solo homer in the ninth inning, his second of the season. Seager has been off to a relatively cold start, hitting .247/.336/.330 with the two homers, 12 runs scored, and seven RBI across 110 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 3:57 pm

    • Michael Lorenzen allows five runs in loss to Reds
Michael Lorenzen allowed five runs with three strikeouts over six innings in a loss against the Reds on Saturday.

Advice: Lorenzen opened with a clean first inning, but ran into some trouble in the second. He hit the leadoff man, then issued a walk before two hits and a sacrifice fly brought in two runs for the Reds. Cincinnati added a run with a pair of hits in the fourth. A two-run homer by Jonathan India in the seventh would knock Lorenzen from the game at 100 pitches. Rotoworld Today, 3:53 pm
    • Ryan Mountcastle blasts solo homer on Saturday
Ryan Mountcastle went 1-for-4 with a solo homer against the A’s on Saturday.

Advice: Mountcastle’s only hit of the day left the yard, going back-to-back with Adley Rutchman for a solo homer in the fifth inning off JP Sears. It was the second home run of the season for the 27-year-old first baseman to go with a .299/.364/.483 slash line and 12 RBI across 99 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 3:28 pm

    • Adley Rutchman goes yard in win over A’s
Adley Rutchman went 1-for-4 with a solo homer against the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: Incredibly, Rutchman has had only five games this season in which he did not record a hit. He extended his current streak to eight games with a solo homer in the fifth inning off of JP Sears. The 26-year-old star catcher is batting .324/.368/.438 with three homers, 16 runs scored, and 16 RBI across 114 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 3:27 pm

    • Rehab assignment approaching
Manager Craig Counsell said Saturday that Steele (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Iowa on Wednesday, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Advice: Counsell didn't say how many starts the Cubs want Steele to make in the minors, but the 28-year-old southpaw is likely in for multiple rehab outings after sitting out roughly a month due to a strained left hamstring. Assuming his assignment goes smoothly, Steele will likely return to Chicago's rotation toward the middle of May. Rotowire.com Today, 12:17 pm
