    • Steals eighth bag
Betts went 3-for-5 with a triple, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: The 31-year-old extended his current hitting streak to seven games with his fourth straight multi-hit performance, and he also swiped a bag for the third straight contest. Betts is having a monster start to the season, slashing .391/.489/.661 through 115 plate appearances with six homers, eight steals, 23 RBI and 29 runs, and while it's early, he's firmly on pace for the second 30-30 campaign of his career. Betts added a single in the ninth and stole second for his eighth steal of the season. The 31-year-old star is slashing an incredible .391/.489/.661 with six homers, 29 runs scored, and 23 RBI across 137 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 3:05 pm

    • Josh Lowe battling tightness in right hamstring
Rays’ outfielder Josh Lowe won’t be activated from the injured list on Saturday as he is now battling tightness in his right hamstring.

Advice: Lowe had told reporters on Friday that he was feeling great and ready to go, but it turns out he suffered a hamstring injury while rehabbing his injured oblique and will head for an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of that injury. So much for the Rays getting their dynamic outfielder back quickly. Look for the Rays to provide a new timeline after they get the results of Monday’s exam. Rotoworld Today, 1:49 pm

    • Won't be activated from IL
Lowe (oblique) will not be activated off the 10-day injured list by the Rays this weekend due to tightness in his right hamstring, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Lowe spent the past week progressing through his rehab assignment in the minors. He was expected to be activated from the IL on Saturday, but the 26-year-old now has a new injury to deal with, this time to his right hamstring. Topkin notes that Lowe was concerned about the risk of playing through the injury and missing more time. Lowe will fly back to Florida to receive an MRI on Monday, which will help provide a better idea as to when the outfielder will be able to return to the majors. Rotowire.com Today, 1:33 pm

    • Not starting Saturday
Garcia is not in the Rangers' starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Reds.

Advice: Garcia will begin Saturday's game in the dugout. His last rest day was April 16 against the Tigers, though he did pinch hit for Jared Walsh in the ninth inning. Lefty-hitting Travis Jankowski will start in right field Saturday and bat eighth against Reds right-hander Hunter Greene. Rotowire.com Today, 12:00 pm

    • Two hits in return
Albies went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and an RBI in Friday's 6-2 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Making his return from a toe injury that cost him eight games, Albies demonstrated quickly that he was fully healthy, ripping a double and scoring in the fifth inning before adding an RBI single in the sixth. The 27-year-old second baseman has a nine-game hitting streak going, sandwiched around the injury absence, and on the season he's slashing .328/.392/.507 with two homers, two steals, 15 runs and 15 RBI. • Launches second homer
Arcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-2 win over the Guardians.

Advice: The shortstop crushed a Pedro Avila two-seamer over the fence in left-center field, giving Atlanta its last offense of the night in the eighth inning. Arcia has both his homers on the year in the last nine games, and he's slashing .311/.340/.478 through 97 plate appearances with nine RBI and 12 runs as he proves his 2023 resurgence was no fluke. • Expected back Saturday
Lowe (oblique) is expected to be activated from the injured list Saturday, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Lowe has been on a rehab assignment for roughly a week, but he was with the big-league club in Chicago on Friday. He's projected to be activated Saturday to make his season debut and will almost certainly occupy a prominent spot in a struggling Rays' lineup. It will also be notable where Lowe plays defensively, as he started three games in center field during his rehab assignment. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:55 pm

    • Saddled with fourth loss
Sandoval (1-4) allowed four runs (three earned) on nine hits over 5.2 innings Friday, striking out four and taking a loss against Minnesota.

Advice: Sandoval coughed up a solo homer to Carlos Santana in the second inning, and the Twins continued to tack on runs throughout the night. Over his last four starts, Sandoval has gone 0-3 while yielding 14 earned runs over 19.2 innings. He did generate 13 swinging strikes Friday though, his second-highest total of the season. Sandoval will carry a 6.33 ERA into his next matchup, which is projected to come at home against the Phillies next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:06 pm
