    • Converts 12th save
Munoz allowed a hit and struck out two in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Friday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

Advice: Munoz's scoreless streak is up to six innings, and he allowed just one run over 13.1 innings in May while converting all seven of his save chances during the month. The closer is 12-for-13 in save chances this year. He's been hard to hit with a 1.42 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 35:8 K:BB over 25.1 innings as the Mariners' top ninth-inning option. Munoz needs one more save to match his career high from last year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:48 pm
    • Andrés Muñoz locks down 12th save of season
Andrés Muñoz fired a scoreless ninth with two strikeouts to pick up a save Friday against the Angels.

Advice: Muñoz needed just 15 pitches to get through the outing with 11 of them going for strikes. The right-hander has been absolutely dominant as of late with a 1.42 ERA and 12 saves for his troubles. To say he’s not in danger of giving up his closing gig is quite the understatement. • Secures 17th save
Suarez picked up the save Friday against Kansas City. He pitched one-third of an inning with no strikeouts, allowing no runs on one hit.

Advice: Suarez entered to collect the last out in a bases-loaded jam with a five-run lead. After yielding a two-RBI single to Freddy Fermin, the San Diego closer induced a Nelson Velazquez flyout to secure the win. Suarez is now tied with Emmanuel Clase for second in the majors with 17 saves, trailing Ryan Helsley by one. The 33-year-old righty has been brilliant as the Padres closer this year, firing a 0.72 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 24:5 K:BB over 25 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:12 pm
    • Robert Suárez gets one-out save against Royals
Robert Suárez retired one of the two batters he faced for a save Friday against the Royals.

Advice: The Padres were up 11-3 heading to the bottom of the ninth, but Stephen Kolek gave up hits to six of the eight batters he faced. That created a save situation for Suárez with the bases loaded in an 11-6 game. Suárez gave up a two-run single to the first batter he faced and then retired Nelson Velázquez for his 17th and easiest save of the year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:00 pm
    • Late scratch Friday
Donovan, who was set to start in left field and bat in the leadoff spot Friday against the Phillies, was scratched from the Cardinals' lineup due to neck stiffness, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Advice: Dylan Carlson will enter the lineup and start in right field, while Alec Burleson shifts to left field and Matt Carpenter moves up to the leadoff spot, per John Denton of MLB.com. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:57 pm

    • Brendan Donovan scratched Friday with stiff neck
Brendan Donovan was scratched from the Cardinals’ starting lineup on Friday due to neck stiffness.

Advice: The 27-year-old infielder is considered day-to-day for the time being. Dylan Carlson will take his place in the Cardinals’ lineup and will bat eighth against Aaron Nola and the Phillies while Matt Carpenter slides up to the leadoff spot in the team’s batting order. • Logs 20th steal
Caballero went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts, two runs scored and a stolen base Thursday against the Athletics.

Advice: This line is indicative of Caballero's skill set, as he's striking out at a 29.3 percent clip and has just a .306 on-base percentage. However, he has already racked up 20 stolen bases, only the second player to hit that mark at this point in the campaign. Caballero's playing time could be in danger upon the return of Taylor Walls (hip), but for now, he fills a key role for both the Rays and fantasy managers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:34 am

    • Continues surge Thursday
Toro went 3-for-5 with an RBI single, a double, a walk, a stolen base and a run in an extra-innings loss to the Rays on Thursday.

Advice: Toro wreaked havoc during the 12-inning contest, putting together his third multi-hit effort in the last four games. The 27-year-old also ripped a two-bagger for the second straight game, and his clutch RBI single in the 10th snapped a 4-4 tie at the time. Toro has found a home in the leadoff spot, logging a .277 batting average, 11 extra-base hits, three steals and 19 runs in 156 plate appearances from the top of the order. • Remains undefeated
Williams (5-0) picked up the win over Atlanta on Thursday, allowing one run on four hits and two walks over 5.2 innings while striking out four.

Advice: The right-hander was able to keep Atlanta's lineup at bay for most of the contest, allowing just one run in the bottom of the third inning after surrendering a leadoff triple to Jarred Kelenic. Williams induced 12 whiffs on the night and retired nine straight batters over his final frames before an Ozzie Albies single sent him to the showers after 95 pitches. Williams has not allowed more than one earned run in eight of his 11 starts this season while also going at least five innings in all but one start. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:13 am
