      Adley Rutchman went 1-for-4 with a solo homer against the Athletics on Saturday.

      Advice: Incredibly, Rutchman has had only five games this season in which he did not record a hit. He extended his current streak to eight games with a solo homer in the fifth inning off of JP Sears.     • Tyler Glasnow fans nine in win over Blue Jays
      Tyler Glasnow allowed one run with nine strikeouts over six innings in a win over the Blue Jays on Saturday.

      Advice: Glasnow was outstanding against the Blue Jays. He had allowed just one hit and two walks before starting the seventh inning with a walk and double that put the first run on the board for Toronto. At 95 pitches, Glasnow was visited by manager Dave Roberts and a trainer before coming out of the game. The official word from the team was he was dealing with some cramping.       Glasnow was removed from his start Saturday against the Blue Jays due to cramping in his right hand, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

      Advice: Glasnow didn't appear to be in significant pain when he was removed during the seventh inning of Saturday's contest, so his removal was likely precautionary. The Dodgers will monitor his situation, but it doesn't seem like the 30-year-old righty is at risk of missing his next start. He pitched well in his last rehab outing with Triple-A Norfolk on Friday, allowing one run on five hits and one walk while striking out six over five frames, and the 27-year-old is ready to make his next start in the majors. He pitched every fifth day during his rehab assignment, so if he stays on that schedule, he could return Wednesday at home against the Yankees.       Advice: Soto went deep against Colin Rea in the first inning to put the Yankees ahead early, but he was unable to score the other two times he reached base Friday, as the Yankees fell short in extra innings. The 25-year-old outfielder has now homered twice in his last three contests and has driven in 23 RBI in just 27 games -- further proof that he is one of the most lethal hitters in the big leagues.
